Creating Proposals/Quotes and Sending Them to Leads

This will require adding a lot of fields to the lead form. Fields that are currently available on the customer form, but on the lead form. Like the install equipment items, setup fees, monitoring information. It is probably not a good idea to clutter the Lead form with these fields. So maybe add a separate "Quote" or "Proposal" tab?

Is there anyway to do more than one proposal for the same customer?

Perfect. It's just time consuming to go from one program to another to email. It would also leave all information to one file, rather than having to copy and paste to the notes.

Hello Cleblanc,

This is actually one of our high priority items right now. We are making some changes to the customer form in preparation to making some of the customer form fields available on leads. Short after we are done with this, we will be able to start working on adding a quotes feature for leads.

This is essential for time management. This quote section should allow for template creation. Pulling the name from the lead and integrating the package or items to a quote. This would be extremely useful. This is already available on most CRMs. It would really improve the experience for the sales side of a company using your platform.

Hello Jusin,

We have plans to make the "Monitoring" fields optional. This will make it easier to enter the information for customer accounts that do not require monitoring. And will hide the monitoring fields from the quote when they are not needed.

We do more than just alarm systems and currently using another program to send quotes for alarms as well as CCTV, access control, etc. I'd love to be able to send quotes for these products and if the customer accepts, turn into invoices like I currently do with Sage Accounting (similar to Quickbooks).
